Casey Renee Kiser's work (a.k.a. Snail ViXen) shines light on distorted mainstream ideas of beauty and closely examines society's swift diagnosis of "mental illness" for anyone coloring outside the lines. Always quirky and armed with bold confessional dynamite, her humor is uncompromising, often abrupt and unsettling. She writes about identity, depression, emotional abuse and healing within complicated relationships. She resides in a magical place called The Crystal Garden.
